Countdown
40 days give or take and we're off on another trip. This time we're driving from Wood River, Illinois, USA to Anchorage, Alaska, USA via Canada. YIKES! As you know, this isn't our first trip to Alaska. We went in the summer of 2015 with Mark and Beth on a Globus Tour. Now its a whole new adventure.
Youngest daughter meets and falls in love. Next thing we know, she's moving, with him back to Alaska (his favorite place on earth) when he retires from the Air Force. We volunteer to make the drive with them and drive her car as they drive in his truck pulling a trailer and also carrying their two dogs. In case you're wondering, the Air Force moves his things but not her car since they aren't married yet. Its going to be exciting and interesting and probably exhausting.
I'll try to keep this blog going so my dear family and friends can follow along as we go. I'm very new at this so I'm not sure how it will go without internet in certain places but if I can, I will write and post pictures along the way.
There are lots of things to do before we leave and lots of obligations and parties so the time will fly. Hopefully, I'll write again before we leave.
