Last Saturday we had a Going Away party for Nicki and Brian.  They are moving to Alaska soon and all the family wanted to see them before they left and wish them well.

As a bonus, we got to witness Brian proposing to Nicki with a beautiful ring.  We are very happy for them both and can't wait until we see what they do on their next adventure.

We had a wonderful family and friend time even though the weather was cool. That didn't seem to bother the little kids or the bigger kids having fun on the zipline.  I don't have any pictures of that but if you do, send some to my phone.  Thanks. 

Two weeks from today Don and I start on our journey.  We'll meet Nicki and Brian on Wednesday, May 10th in Deadwood, South Dakota.  They are going to spend a few days with Brian's parents in Minnesota before meeting us. 

As you know I'm still experimenting on this blog so I'm going to try to insert some pictures and see what happens.
